The Growth Company (GC) have a new opportunity for a Marketing Business Partner to provide strategic marketing support to The Growth Company’s Education & Skills team, and will focus on the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing communications and campaign activity including reporting to various stakeholder groups.
Working with the Head of Marketing for People and Corporate Services, the role will involve the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaign activity that supports the business's objectives.
Supported by a team of marketeers and the wider Marketing and Communications Team, the role will focus on acting as a lead for the delivery of creative marketing campaigns through the application of project management skills and stakeholder and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will represent the GC at key stakeholder briefings and collaboration projects to ensure wider dissemination of information and integration of GC goals with future developments both locally and nationally
- Taking lead responsibility, assess, analyse, and collate environmental performance data and reporting information for internal staff, senior management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Developing and enhancing a consistent set of messages for the Group and its component divisions, that clearly articulate and position its offer as best in class and continually ensure that these messages resonate with clients and lead to the take up of services.
- Working with the Head of Marketing for People and Corporate Services and Head of Communications, be responsible for the overall delivery, objective setting and reporting of impact against the departmental marketing and communications strategy.
- Act as a specialist advisor to, and build effective relationships with, service leads within the Education and Skills Team, ensuring key messages are consistent weaved through our activity.
- Setting and measuring KPIs across all digital and non-digital campaigns.
- Create impactful, targeted multi-channel campaigns that reflect the diverse needs and communication preferences of our audiences.
- Actively monitor analytics, customer feedback, insight, and sentiment to improve marketing outcomes.
- Create high quality, engaging content that has impact across a diverse range of communications channels including website, social media, email, print and video.
- Coordinate and contribute to the editorial planning process for our marketing activity.
- Work with colleagues in Communications to ensure consistent tone of voice, style and brand standards are applied.
- Continually identify and evaluate virtual platforms and marketing activities to drive the continuous improvement of GC’s Marketing activity.
About You:
- Have the necessary influencing skills to liaise at a senior level across GC Education & Skills and with key external partners and stakeholders.
- Motivated, resilient with the enthusiasm and drive to make things happen.
- Have experience of preparing and delivering marketing plans and presentations.
- Confident in generating good ideas and improving ways of working.
- Significant experience of creating and implementing marketing plans and campaigns.
Skills Required:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (membership of a professional body such CIPR, IOIC, PRCA, CIM etc is desirable).
- Line management experience is essential.
- Understanding of measurement techniques including the AMEC/OASIS model.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, able to manage limited resources effectively.
- Understanding of SEO, PPC, UX and CMS tools to facilitate web content management.
