Linda M. Carlin Obituary - 2021 (2024)

LEOMINSTER --- On Saturday, July 24th, Linda Marie Carlin (Kirylo) moved from this physical world to eternal peace with the Lord. She was a unique person who shared her talents with many others over her lifetime and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She leaves her husband Robert Carlin Sr. (they had just marked their 47th anniversary in June). Linda is survived by her three sons and their families: Robert and Michele Carlin, Shawn, Christopher and Kristin Carlin; grandchildren Brady, Casey, Brenna, Graham, and Genevieve. Her sons’ wives were the daughters she and Bob never had.

She is survived by her siblings Edward Kirylo, Aggie Durango and her husband, Rose Clack and her husband, Joanne Silva, and Ann Aveiro and her husband. She has many nieces and nephews.

Linda resided in Leominster for 37 years with her family. Growing up in a big family, she developed her love for children and became a licensed family daycare provider. Running her daycare allowed her to work and stay at home with her children. She did this for 25 years before retiring to watch her grandchildren.

Linda was active in the Our Lady of the Lake parish in her healthier times. She was a eucharist minister, taught CCD, and was a member of the Rite of Christian Initiation in Adults (RCIA) team when it was reestablished in the parish.

Linda was the Cub Master of troop 3 in North Leominster while her sons were active in the cub scouts.

Linda and Bob were soul mates. They met while bowling and were married nine months later. Love happened quickly and continued to grow and evolve over the years.

She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace with the Lord.

Linda`s funeral will be held on Thursday July 29, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster with a funeral mass at 10am in Our Lady of the Lake Church,1400 Main St. Leominster.
