summary - Chris had just gotten his license and was excited to show y/n, though it doesn’t exactly seem to go on plan when Chris breaks the law and gets pulled over. Y/n’s disappointed on why he’d do something so stupid. He makes it up quickly by getting her a sweet treat.
I was impatiently waiting forChris to show up to my house. Checking his location every second and chewing on my lip while heavily smiling. It was the day he’d gotten his license after failing 3 times prior. Told me he’d ’swoop me past midnight’ I was just excited to finally have him driving instead of me or Matt. Also since he’s almost 19 I’ve been begging for him to get it so he can drive more.
Once he finally shows up- driving! He’s actually driving holy sh*t! I run up to his car door, screaming in joy and shock.
“Oh my- babe you actually did it!”
“Yeah I showed up and f*cking proved their asses wrong!”
I giggle softly and open the car door to the passenger seat, smiling inevitably as I enjoy being in the front seat without actually driving-finally… he places his hand carefully on my thigh, caressing his thumb on my leg as I turn myself to face him more.
“I’m so proud of you- aren’t you finally glad you got your license?!”
I say with a giddy smile, placing my hand overtop his on my leg, still reacting to him actually in the drivers seat-driving, with my blood pumping fast and my shocked smile.
“I couldn’t have done it without my Queen”
I feel my cheeks heat up as he says that, he gets me so flustered and so in love with him. He squeezes my thigh gently and I chew the inside of my cheek. We’re practically just staring at each other now except it’s not even awkward it’s just so ‘god you’re so hot’ ‘god I’m in love with you’.
“Well- get to driving now, I gotta see how good you really are.”
I chuckle and turn to face the dashboard, but looking straight at him with his hand lingering on me. I then look forward but I still feel his eyes burning into the side of my face. I can see through my peripheral that he looks forward and briefly takes his hand off my thigh, putting the car in drive. He glances at me before speaking with a smirk.
“Ready for the ride of your life?”
I almost snort laugh when he says that, dirty jokes get me anywhere anytime.
“What are you implying here?”
I say through held back laughs and chuckles, it’s never that funny but I always like to make it seem so. I laugh at pretty much everything but it still boosts his confidence in thinking he’s the funniest guy on the planet earth. He rolls his eyes and starts slowly driving away from my house. My heart racing as my leg bounces, partially cause I’m nervous and excited.
“You’re so pretty with that smile of yours..”
Him saying that immediately makes me smile wider as I get even more flustered and smiley. Biting my lip and glancing at him with an even wider smile. Catching him glancing at me with a wide knowing smirk. He knows what he does and how it affects me.
“Stop it”
“W- stop what?”
“Being so- so flirty! You make me feel so much when you do like nothing”
Even his small laugh makes my stomach churn. He drives slowly at first but speeds up once he approaches the highway. Some think about seeing him drive is so hot…the way his hands grip the steering wheel, to see his focused face as he turns and watches out for cars. Ugh I’m so lucky…
“I..am not doing anything- actually, that’s all you babe”
As he says that, he speeds up even more. purely focused on the road as he passes by people, my heart racing as I adjust in my seat to get a better look at how fast he’s going-90 in a 65….holy sh*t..
“Chris what the f*ck! Slow down!”
He just rolls his eyes and keeps passing by people, but slowing down as he turns and enters this little empty road area. Immediately speeding up again. My heart thumping against my chest and I’m half thrilled and half terrified, he just f*cking got his license after failing so many times
“Don’t be a pushover! You’re fine babe!”
“God- I’m serious slow down before you get pulled over-“
He glances at me with a smirk that’s almost invisible, then sighs as he slows down. but he doesn’t slow down fast enough for him to not get pulled over…I told him. He swears under his breath as he also notices the red and blue lights flashing with the loud noise blaring. I groan and fall back in my seat, rubbing my eyes as he pulls into this area where the cop parks behind him.
“Chris- this is your first f*cking day of having your license and you already get pulled over for reckless driving?!”
“f*ck off I was tryna have fun-“
“You can have fun without committing a f*cking crime!”
He rolls his eyes and his window down as the cop approaches. I can’t even look at him because what the f*ck kinda drugs is he on that makes him want to get a ticket his first ever drive with his license, like huh? I just stare at the window, annoyed as the cop pretty much asks for his license and gives him a ticket.
After all of that he looks at me pleadingly and with his irresistible sad ‘please forgive me’ look
“Babe come on, I was just tryna have fun with you I didn’t mean for it to go so wrong”
I huff and fold my arms, still looking out the window ignoring him. I can feel his hand creep on my thigh as I smack it away, he sighs, and for the rest of the drive I have no idea where he’s taking me.
“Can I make it up to you baby?”
I glance at him, still a little disappointed with him before I look out the window and see him driving up to sweet frog. My eyes widen as I tried to hide my smile, I LOVE sweet frog with everything in me- but he can’t just use that as an escape.
“Chris- I’m not mad about whatever I’m just disappointed in you that you would do something so stupid so soon after getting your license! And I’m disappointed that you didn’t react at all to it”
He sighs and parks right in front of sweet frog, as much as I want to run up and Immediately get a cup I need to confirm with him and be healthy about this.
“Yes baby I understand- ill be more careful and I’m sorry that you had to witness it as well”
I smile softly as he carefully holds my hand in his, I just admire him for a moment. We’d get through rough patches no matter how big or small they are. After less than a minute I glance at sweet frog multiple times and I want him to get the hint. But he doesn’t, he just has a knowing smirk as in ‘use your words’. I roll my eyes with a smirk and sigh as I unlock the car and open my car door- not leaving just yet.
“Ugh- can we please go get some sweet frog now?”
I hear his laugh when I’m already out the car and shutting the door as he gets out. Clapping my hands together with a giddy smile on my face. Looking up as I notice the beautiful strawberry skies. The clouds and how fluffy they look like a marshmallow. Admiring them as well. I feel Chris’s hand interlock with mine as he places a soft kiss on my cheek.
“As you said- let’s go get some sweet frog”
